INFORMATION & FAQ'S

 Meet the Baker

Hi! I'm Tricia and I am TReats!

I am a Madison native and got my start at a local cupcake shop and bakery back in my high school years. Working as a barista and decorator sparked my passion for cupcakes. With the blessing of my former boss at the cupcake shop, I decided to start my own bakery business focusing on decadent, specialty cupcakes!

You will always find an assortment of unique flavors at TReats to fit every kind of sweet tooth. I pride myself in providing a wide variety and always working with you to create delicious flavor combinations! I have a tried and true list of flavors, but I am always open to working with my customers on custom flavors as well - the sky is the limit!

 FAQ's

 The Story behind the name?

Easy! My initials are T.R.

What are your most popular flavors?

All of them!! Just kidding. While all of our cupcakes are amazing, these top five flavors are ones that always knock it out of the park!

Can you make cakes with dietary restrictions?

You bet we can! We have the ability to make cakes and cupcakes with the following dietary restrictions, however please see the disclaimer below:

*All products are prepared, baked, and packaged in my home kitchen that is not allergy-friendly. Although we use best practices to avoid cross contamination, there is no guarantee that the products produced will be completely free from potential allergens. There is always a risk of cross-contamination to occur and I cannot guarantee that ingredients or tools used have not come in contact with them.

How do I place an order?

You can place an order by email [Tricia@TR-eats.com] or by phone, (608) 576-7210. Please plan on ordering at least 1 week in advance of when your order is needed so we are able to accommodate you! If you need a last minute order and are past the 1 week mark, please feel free to email me with an inquiry - I will always consider your order, but cannot guarantee it. There is only one of me! The earlier you are able to place an order, the more I am able to guarantee your order will be perfect!

Where do I find your pricing?

Pricing for cupcakes varies depending on the flavor and can be found on the menu. Bulk order pricing may apply depending on the order quantity. Pricing for cakes varies depending on design elements, size and flavor.  Pricing for additional treats can be found on the menu page.

What is the process of ordering a cake?

if you're looking for a cake for a special occasion whether that be a birthday, a wedding, or just because - we are able to work with you to come up with the perfect design! Please email us with information on your event  and any inspiration images you may have for your cake. We will then set up a one-on-one consultation to come up with a cake within your budget to meet your needs!

Can you do custom printing and logos?

Yes we can! We can print almost any digital image/logo for cakes or cupcakes onto a sugar "sticker" with an edible printer. Custom print pricing varies depending on the size and quantity of the prints.

How do I schedule a tasting?

Please contact me at Tricia@Tr-eats.com to schedule your tasting! Tastings are available for all wedding orders and any orders of 6 dozen or more cupcakes. A maximum of 8 flavors may be chosen for your tasting. Tastings are $50, with that cost acting as a placeholder for your event date. The $50 will be applied to your final invoice balance.

How should I transport my cake/cupcakes?

Always transport your order on the floor of your car if possible! You want your order to sit as flat as possible, so the floor is generally the best way to do that. Do NOT set your order on the seat of your car! Boxes will slide off the seat if you take a corner too quickly or have to hit your breaks unexpectedly - and I can't guarantee I can fix any mishaps that may occur after you have picked up your order. Placing order in a cooler or padding with a blanket or towel is recommended if you are able to do so.

How should I serve my cupcakes?

Your cupcakes will taste best served at room temperature! The only exception to this would be any cupcake with a whipped cream frosting which is best served chilled. If you are picking up your cupcakes before the day you are serving them, keep them refrigerated until an hour or two before you are ready to serve to allow them to come to room temperature.

Cupcakes will stay fresh in the refrigerator for 7 days. After 7 days, cake can begin to dry out and crumble. Cupcakes can be kept in the freezer for up to 3 months in an airtight container. To thaw frozen cupcakes, place in refrigerator overnight. Then bring to room temperature before serving as you would a typical cupcake order!

Where can I buy your cupcakes?

At this time, if you are looking to pick up a few cupcakes without placing a special order, you have a few options. TR-eats will be at the Capitol View Farmer's Market from August 9th though October 11th.

You can also find TR-eats at Red Rooster Madison open at 5:00pm Tuesday-Saturday.

Our products are completely made from scratch (except for ingredients like Oreos, M&M's, etc. and our fondant). This means you will get high quality ingredients with every single order.

Rest assured that your order will always be fresh baked specifically for you!
